18:30 Transport to the wine cellar of Mr. Vaněk, one of the local wineproducers famous mainly due to his excellent Traminer (sort near to Gewürtztraminer). The year 2003 has the level 'Selection of berries' (one step above 'Selection of grapes'). Mr. Vaněk believes in traditional way of wine production and all his wines develop in wooden barrels. Later they evolve in bottles. We will try some samples from his production directly in the cellar and then we will have a social dinner with our own selection of his wines in a nice room with beautiful garden above his cellar. As a part of the social dinner there will be outdoor barbeque.

Sightseeing tour in Znojmo, visit of Monastery of Louka, which houses wine cellars of local wine producer Znovín Znojmo. Visit of the city catacombs. It is possible to spend part of the afternoon at the local outdoor swimming pool with heated water. In the estate of the swimming pool there is also a restaurant with bowling.


Dinner in the wine restaurant 'U legionáře' (The Legionnaire's) followed by trying samples of local wines.

Tour in the area around Znojmo guided by Mrs. Adámková, local guide. We will visit wine cellar belonging to Špalek family, famous mainly due to Grylus cuveé and their desert wines. The Špalek family believes rather in modern wine producing methods such as regulated fermentation and other. Afterwards we will visit the church of St. Wolfgang in Hnanice and then take a walk to the famous vineyard Šobes with beautiful lookout from the top of the hill. In case of bad weather we will visit another cellar instead.

Dinner with wine at the outdoor terrace of the Moravian cellar Šatov famous due to excellent cuisine and excellent selection of wines (there is another big cellar of the Znovín company). After the dinner we will try 10 samples of Znovín wines in the cellars.
