CEQIP'12 (Central European Quantum Information Procesing workshop) is focused on current challenges and paradigms of quantum information processing. Although the workshop is open for any topic of quantum information theory, this year we plan to focus more on quantum randomness, novel schemes for quantum communication, quantum entanglement theory and novel algorithms for simulations of quantum systems.

Except the traditional wine tasting we will visit a cave and have a little hike in the forrest surrounding the Smolenice castle. We also plan to organize a QUANTUM CIPHER GAME, in which groups of 2-4 people will solve quantum puzzles and ciphers in order to find a hidden (classical) treasure of Smolenice castle. Try some ciphers here.

The workshop is organized by Quantum Laboratory, Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University (Brno) and Research Center for Quantum Information, Institute of Physics, Slovak Academy of Sciences (Bratislava).
