TRAVEL INSTRUCTIONS

The key is to get to a small town called Břeclav, which is a train junction on Austria-Czech-Slovak borders and Valtice are situated 10 km from this town. All the EC trains from Bratislava (and Budapest), or Wien, to Prague (and Berlin), or Warszawa stops there, hence, it is well connected with these capitals. Use for example Austrian railways site to find your way from Wien Schwechat Airport to Břeclav (or directly to Valtice-mesto).

Typical travel times (by EC trains):
    80 minutes ... Wien (Meidling) - Břeclav
    50 minutes ... Bratislava - Břeclav
    35 minutes ... Brno - Břeclav
If you want to save little money buy return tickets.

From Břeclav train station you can continue with local railways to Valtice, or take a taxi.

Taxi from Břeclav
Takes around 15 minutes and costs approximatively 10 euro, but remember that you should have ready som Czech crowns (CZK), thus, it costs 200-280 CZK. At Breclav railway station you can find ATM accepting all usual debet, or credit cards.

Airports:
We recommend Wien, but if your are lucky you can find direct flights also to Bratislava, or Brno (this is really the closest). It takes roughly 2 hours (if you are unlucky 3 hours) to get from any of these airports to Břeclav.
